Rhizobium mainly fulfills the requirement of nitrogen in plants by living symbiotically with all pulses and some oilseed crops. After germination, they go to the roots and sterilize small nodules and convert atmospheric nitrogen into nitrate and give it to the plants. Use only prescribed and suitable NAFED Rhizobium for each crop.
- Method of Use: Seed Treatment: Dissolve 150 grams (1 packet) in 300 ml water and apply grass seeds on one acre of land, dry it in shade and sow immediately.
- Land Treatment: Mix 5 kg (10 packets) with 50 kg of pure cow dung manure in shade and scatter in one acre.
- Benefits: About 20 to 30 percent more crop yield. With its use, on an average 40 to 80 kg of nitrogen per hectare gets converted and remains in the soil, which also benefits the upcoming crop.
