Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria (PSB) - Soil Phosphorus (Optimal Plant Nutrition)

Phosphorus is the second main nutrient for plants. It plays a major role in crop production. NAFED PSB is a balanced mixture of phosphorus-solubilizing bacteria. When seed treatment or soil treatment is done with NAFED PSB, it converts the insoluble phosphorus available in the soil into soluble form, which is easily used by the plants.

• Method of Use: Seed treatment method: Mix one packet (250 grams) in water as required and treat the seeds thoroughly. Dry the seeds in shade and sow them immediately.
• Method of Planting: Dissolve three packets of NAFED PSB in 40-50 liters of water, dip the seeds in it for 10 minutes and sow immediately.
• Soil Treatment Method: Mix 2 grams (8 packets) of NAFED PSB thoroughly with 50 kg of cow dung manure and mix it evenly in the soil. Irrigate immediately after that.
• Planting Method: Dissolve two packets of PSB in 15-20 liters and dip the roots in it for ten minutes and sow immediately after that.
• Benefits: Use of PSB can result in savings of up to 50% in phosphorus fertilizer content. Its use improves the health of plants and increases the yield by 10 to 40 percent. All types of crops and plants benefit from PSB.
